NORTH: Worcester defenders doubtful for big game
Defenders Les Hines and Shabir Khan are rated extremely doubtful for Worcester City home game against Nationwide North leaders Southport on Saturday.Hines has a calf injury, while Khan's problem is his groin. Paul Carty who has missed the last two games will be back in the squad, which is likely to include new player-manager Andy Preece.
City also at home on Monday
City are at home to Gainsborough Trinity on Monday night in a rearranged league game, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
St. George's Lane to play host to public school's game
For the second successive year, Worcester City's St. Georges Lane ground will play host to the annual football match between Worcester Royal Grammar School and the Kings School. The game will take place next Wednesday night (9th February) with the kick off being 6.30pm. Admission is free and a big crowd is expected to see if Kings' can repeat their success of last season when they won on penalties.
