CONFERENCE: Crawley Town set for live TV debut
Crawley Town are delighted to announce that their Conference fixture versus Morecambe has been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports.
The match was originally scheduled for Saturday 19 February but has now been put back two days to Monday 21 February, kick-off 7.45pm. The broadcast, on Sky Sports 1, will begin at 7.30pm.
This will be an historic day for the club as it will the first time the club has received full match coverage on national television.
Representatives from Sky Sports visited the Broadfield Stadium last week to assess the suitability of hosting a live TV game and the club were informed this morning that the Morecambe fixture had been selected.
Managing Director Steve Duly said: "We are delighted to be chosen and are really looking forward to it. It's hard to believe that only a year ago we were still chasing Weymouth to win the Dr Martens League and now look at us - in the Conference play-off psoitions and live on national television next month.
"This is a massive opportunity for local companies to receive exposure. Sky expect to have six cameras at the game and there are some prime locations around the ground available for advertisements. I'd be delighted to talk to anyone interested about the ways we can help to put their company's name in the national spotlight."
Any companies or persons potentially interested in sponsorship and advertising, for this match or at any time in the future, should contact Steve Duly on 01293 410000.
The match will not be all-ticket. Supporters are reminded that this match MUST kick-off at 7.45pm and are advised to get to the ground in good time. Turnstiles will open at 6.30pm.
