Morecambe next up for Crawley
Crawley Town return to action in the Nationwide Conference this weekend as they travel to Morecambe. The Lancashire club lie just one place below Francis Vines' side in 11th place, both sides having taken 24 points from their 16 matches although Crawley have a better goal difference. This will be the first meeting between the teams.
While Crawley had no competitive fixture at the weekend, the Shrimps took on League One Hull at the KC Stadium in the FA Cup and led twice before losing 3-2.
The Red Devils played in a friendly on Saturday, and scored a welcome away victory by two goals to one against Ryman Premier Division frontrunners Northwood. Both Crawley goals were scored by recent signing Danny Platel and the side featured a number of trialists. Former Reds striker Ben Abbey scored for the home side.
Manager Francis Vines welcomes back striker Danny Davidson to his squad although fellow forward Charlie MacDonald is still out. Defender Sean Hankin is also expected to play despite his ongoing knee injury.

Dolan loan extended
Defender Joe Dolan has extended his loan deal from Millwall to take in a second month. The 24-year-old former Chelsea apprentice has featured in all of Crawley's games since he joined, and is now eligible to play until Saturday 18 December, when the Red Devils travel to York City.
Halifax game postponed
The Conference match at Halifax, scheduled for Saturday 4 December, has been postponed as the Yorkshire side are in the FA Cup second round.
Injury news
Defender Sean Hankin continues to play despite his ongoing knee injury. His fitness is being assessed on a game-by-game basis. Striker Charlie MacDonald is awaiting the scan results on his groin injury while Striker Danny Davidson returns to the squad after recovering from his thigh injury.
Reserve/Youth team news
Crawley Town reserves were beaten by Northampton Town reserves 2-1 last Wednesday. Danny Marney scored Crawley's goal in the 90th minute. The reserves' next match is at home to Stevenage Borough next Wednesday 24 November, kick-off 7.30pm.
The youth team are at home to Yeading in the Football Conference Youth League Cup 1st Round on Wednesday (17th), kick-off 7pm.
