AWARDS: VIEIRA IS NATIONWIDE CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Brazilian star Magno Vieira of high-flying Carlisle United is the Nationwide Conference Player of the Month for October - an award voted on by fans of the competition.
Vieira, who is currently on a season-long loan from Championship side Wigan Athletic, plays in the Cumbrians' forward line and has become a fans' favourite at Brunton Park.
Clayton Donaldson of Harrogate Town picks up the Nationwide North Player of the Month Award after scoring three times in five fixtures in October.
In the Nationwide South, 16-year old Gary Hooper of Grays Athletic has been named Player of Month after joining the club last season following spells with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham.
Nationwide's Chris Hull said: "Magno is not only getting first team experience at Brunton Park but also helping to propel Paul Simpson's side towards the top of the table.
"Under Paul's stewardship, the 19-year old is gaining invaluable knowledge of the game and has already found the back of the net seven times this season - including one on his debut.
"His pace and trickery have made him a big favourite with the Brunton Park faithful and he clearly has an eye for goal.
"Clayton is a striker who has made a big impact at Harrogate in the Nationwide North and has very clever feet for a big man.
"He is a very exciting player who likes to pick the ball up, turn and run at defenders with devastating pace.
"Meanwhile, incredibly, Gary is only 16 and takes the Nationwide South award following a series of highly competitive performances - scoring twice in October in six appearances for Grays.
"He plays on the right hand side of midfield and provides fantastic width and ability for the Essex side who are currently second in the table.
"Because of Gary's age, we are going to have to make sure that his manager keeps the cork firmly in his bottle of champagne for a couple more years."
Chris Hull added: "Once again, thousands of votes have been cast for this award by supporters of Nationwide Conference football which illustrates the enduring appeal of the competition.
"Magno, Clayton and Gary will all receive a specially commissioned magnum of champagne prior to a forthcoming home fixture.
