NORTH: Owen missing as Worcester go in search of trophy glory
Worcester City will be without striker Mark Owen for Saturday's FA Trophy first round tie against Chippenham Town at St. Georges Lane.
Owen, who has only recently returned to the side following a knee injury, suffered three cracked ribs when he crashed into the advertising hoardings towards the end of Monday's Carthium Cup victory over Stafford Rangers.
He was released from hospital on Tuesday morning, but faces around six weeks on the sidelines. Danny McDonnell, Barry Woolley, Jai Stanley and Christian Moore are all still out.
City are unbeaten in their last five games and should be confident of beating their lower-graded opponents, but Chippenham themselves, are currently top of the Southern League Premier Division.
If Saturday's game ends in a draw, the replay will take place on Tuesday at Chippenham with the kick off being 7.45pm.
