Weston-Super-Mare and Weymouth took a point apiece from a lively encounter at Woodspring Stadium that saw four goals in the first half, including an own goal from each side.

August's Nationwide South Player of the Month Marc McGregor put Weston ahead in the first minute, and their lead was doubled half an hour later as Nathan Bunce put the ball in his own net.

But Chukki Eribenne pulled one back for the visitors eight minutes later, and the scores were levelled on the stroke of half-time when Bradley Thomas scored the second own goal of the match.

There were no further goals, of any kind, in the second period and the game ended 2-2, which helped Weston up to seventh in the table and saw Weymouth climb to 12th - three points behind their opponents.
