Crawley continue excellent home form
Crawley Town extended their unbeaten home run in the Conference to four matches with a 1-0 victory over York City on Saturday. Danny Davidson scored the only goal on 11 minutes. The win takes the Reds to 13 points from their seven games, six points behind leaders Barnet.
Crawley are on their travels this Saturday as they visit Eton Park to play Burton Albion. That is quickly followed by a visit to Canvey Island on Tuesday (21st). Manager Francis Vines will still be without midfielder Robert Kember (ankle). Forward Danny Davidson (calf) is doubtful and defender Sean Hankin is struggling with a knee injury although he should be fit.

Hemsley out on loan
Defender Kevin Hemsley has joined Conference South Welling United on loan for one month. Welling boss Paul Parker asked Vines if any players were available and Vines thought that Hemsley would benefit from playing several full first- team matches. Hemsley began the season in the starting line-up but has recently found himself on the substitutes' bench.
Injury news
Midfielder Robert Kember is out of Saturday's match at Burton as he continues to suffer from an ankle injury. He will have an x-ray tomorrow (Tuesday). Kember was also involved in a car accident over the weekend although he was uninjured. A club spokesman said 'We're aware of the accident and are obviously pleased that no-one was hurt. However, the incident happened outside Crawley Town Football Club and there is no more we can say on the matter. '
Defender Sean Hankin is struggling with a knee injury, but is expected to be fit for Saturday
Forward David Davidson pulled his calf muscle on Saturday and is undergoing treatment. He is doubtful for Saturday.
Midfielder Paul Armstrong is on course to rejoin the squad on 25 September following his knee injury that has kept him out of Crawley's Conference campaign so far.
Midfielder Robert Smith continues his rehabilitation. It is hoped he can begin running in December and resume training in February.
Goalkeeper Andy Little is suffering from a knee injury and will have an MRI scan tomorrow with the results expected back next Monday (20th).
Midfielder Mo Harkin will complete his two-week rehabilitation on his ankle injury this week and will visit the surgeon on Thursday for a review.
